Control 5 Answer Sheet
Answer: A

Description: 5. A-D Eastern Dot Knoll

The
challenge here is which feature. Since the trees partially block some of the
features, it is not easy to determine which is the correct feature. There are two kinds of knolls mapped here:
form line knolls (to the east and south) and dot knolls. The features mapped as form line knolls are larger
in area, but not necessarily higher than the dot knolls. It is important to notice that there is an
unmapped knoll to the west of the two mapped knolls (it is too low to be
mapped). The description means the
eastern-most of two dot knolls inside
the control circle. A bearing could
also aid in deciding the correct feature.
